Lance Armstrong Offers Nicolas Sarkozy a New Bike

A day after French President Nicolas Sarkozy suffered a heavy defeat in local elections, 7-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong comforted the French president by offering him a brand new bike today in Paris. Armstrong twittered this evening that he met with the French president at the Elysée Palace and gave him the new bike with on the seat tube the “Bleu, Bland et Rouge” colours of the French flag and the French president’s signature on the frame. “Had to throw a little @Livestrong love on there!!” one the Tweets said, showing the logo on the bike frame of Armstrong’s Livestrong Foundation against cancer. Also present were Armstrong’s girlfriend Anna Hansen and Johan Bruyneel, his long-time friend and managing director of his team RadioShack. The French president is known to be a bike aficionado. He has followed several stages of the Tour de France in the past.

Ironic…
A cheater is cheering one another.

To the fool who has self-convinced illusions that Lance is a cheater, you’re wrong. But that is ok, because being wrong becomes simply your problem.
Lance Armstrong is a gentleman. I’ve known him since he was about 16. He’s hated by his rivals for a reason, they are not able to deal with themselves.
Stay tuned Cantador, your day is coming.

Lance Armstrong is not only a gentleman, he is an icon of hope, survival and courage. He has been tested hundreds of times more than other riders who blame their failures and insecurities by ascribing guilt where there’s none. when his wife was in labor, she was forced to stand in the door having contractions at 3 am whilst they tested him for “dopage”. Nothing, Nada…..and the losers go on and on.
