Police Say Barefoot Bandit May Have Attempted Another Break-In

ABC News' Eamon McNiff Reports:

A break-in early Sunday morning at ACE Hardware on Orcas Island is suspected to be the work of the alleged "barefoot bandit" Colton Harris-Moore.

According to a release from San Juan County Sheriff Bill Cumming, deputies arrived at the store after an alarm had been sounded and found that the store had been entered from the roof and

A window was broken, however no burglar was found.

"Investigators believe initial scene evidence suggests Colton Harris-Moore to be the prime person of interest," Cumming said in his release.

According to the release k-9 units from nearby Whatcom County were dispatched after the break-in was discovered, as was an air search but Harris-Moore has not been located.

ACE Hardware on Orcas had previously been broken into last fall, again Harris-Moore is the main suspect in that break-in as well.

Harris-Moore’s return to Orcas Island had been suspected since February 11th, after a stolen airplane was discovered off the runway at Orcas' airport, and Homegrown Market was broken into and robbed.
