ABC News’ Lauren Pearle Reports:
Jarred Harrell, the “person of interest” in the Somer Thompson murder, was officially charged yesterday with 26 new criminal counts: 2 counts of child molestation and 24 counts of making child pornography (called “promotion of a sexual performance of a child”). The alleged victim was not Somer Thompson, FL State Attorney spokesman Dan McCarthy told ABC News.
Yesterday’s charges stem from alleged acts that were already described in a Feb 24th arrest warrant. They are based on 12 photographs law enforcement found on a camera memory stick at Harrell’s home, according to McCarthy.
