They Might Be Giants…

Hello my name is Jonas and I was thinking about what I read in this story and Ive got part of a hypothsis on what in my oppionion that might help the situation. I am not a doctor and this is totally a hypothsis that Ive done independant study on an under no situation be considered a cure. I just I might be able to help. The idea is this: The article said the problem is a tumor that is cuasing the puituitary gland to secrete growth hormone. This means to me that the tumor is some how keeping the gene that codes that growth hormone has not been shut off. Now I dont know what cuases the shut off of a genes code that tells the gland to stop secreting this hormone for growth but it does shut off normally when growth is suppose to be over (it probally has some thing to do genes past down by the parents that tell body and the cells to stop secreting that hormone) So the solution may be to copy the target DNA sequence in the cells of the tumor that is coding, telling the puitutary gland to secret this hormone and use PCR to make copy that can later be used to make a RNAi strand or siRNA that can be injected into that target DNA strand thus blocking that gene from being copied or used by messanger RNA. In any case if this target gene cant send signals to secrete this hormone then the growth should stop. With this gene blocked there is no info to be sent to the gland. Well thats it . I just hope someone reads this and sends me an email telling me if this is a good idea and if it is I hope it will help people that has this problem.
