BREAKING NEWS: Too often, the stories we report about missing children end in violence and tragedy, arrests and convictions. But authorities in Florida have confirmed that 11-year-old Nadia Bloom, missing since Friday afternoon, has been found this morning by a civilian searcher in a wooded area inside the search zone. Nadia, pictured above, was reportedly found by James King, a member of Metro Faith Church. The girl, who has Asperger’s syndrome, is reportedly covered in bug bites and dehydrated, but otherwise healthy. The child was last seen riding her bicycle, which was recovered and became the center point of a two-mile search radius. Her sister told police Nadia was carrying a video camera in her backpack and may have set out to film a nature movie.  There has also been speculation she was mimicking behavior of an 11-year-old girl from the American Doll book series “Lanie,” featuring a popular, outdoorsy character. Will update with details as necessary.
