Nope. Not that Pandora. Correspondent Brian Rooney may have introduced us in January to the language of James Cameron's science-fictional world, but this time, it's Pandora Radio, a personalized Internet radio station built just for you that's transforming music delivery for millions, especially since the launch the Pandora iPhone app two years ago. Since July 2008, the company has grown from 10 million listeners to more than 50 million. The arrival of the iPad and "background listening," where Pandora can continue to stream while the iPhone is used, may send that number skyrocketing again. We go inside Pandora's Northern California offices to see exactly how their "Music Genome Project" database system works and meet the people designing your enjoyment. In addition to some great music, here's what we found.
