Did jilted professor Amy Bishop kill before? It's a question we asked in this blog in February. Yesterday, a prosecutor in Massachusetts said the answer is yes, charging her with first-degree murder for the 1986 shooting of her younger brother. Bishop is the professor and mother of four accused of a deadly campus rampage in Alabama in which she allegedly opened fire on her colleagues, killing three and injuring three more, after she was denied tenure. Authorities in Massachusetts had originally called the 1986 shooting an accident. But the case was reopened after the Alabama rampage — and yesterday, the prosecutor announced a grand jury indictment in the case.
