Denzel Washington on “Fences” and Scholars

Denzel Washington, star of the revival of August Wilson’s 1987 “Fences,” stopped by “GMA” today.  “Fences” was nominated for 10 Tony awards including one for best actor for Washington’s role as Troy Maxson.

The Oscar-Award winning actor also spoke about the seventh annual Paulette and Denzel Washington Family Gifted Scholars Program in Neuroscience Awards which, in association with the Cedars-Sinai Department of Neurosurgery, are awarded to students who want to pursue a career in Neuroscience.
