i4c (I Forsee) a Better Future

This morning Casey Verbeck appeared on “Good Morning America” to discuss the i4c Campaign, an initiative he created to build a responsible economy with companies that are committed to people and the planet as well as to profit.

The Lilith Fair is supporting i4c, or “I forsee” a better tomorrow.

Lilith Fair, a traveling music festival, will contribute money from ticket proceeds to support the following four companies:

Grameen America,a nonprofit microfinance bank that offers small loans to entrepreneurs living below the poverty line. The bank’s chairman and founder, Muhammad Yunus, won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for his work with the poor.

Alter Eco, a fair trade food company that connects people to small independent farmers across the globe.

To-Go Ware, which makes portable utensils and food containers out of bamboo, tin and other sustainable materials.

Better World Books, which collects and sells books online to fund global literacy initiatives.
