ABC’s World News with Diane Sawyer to Originate from the Gulf on July 12 & 13
Continuing its in-depth reporting on the BP oil spill and the implications it has had on the people in the region, ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer” returns to the Gulf. Diane Sawyer will anchor the broadcast from the region beginning on Monday, July 12.
As BP continues their attempts to contain the worst oil spill in U.S. history, Sawyer is scheduled to interview the man charged with the federal response, National Incident Commander Admiral Thad Allen (Ret.), to get the latest on the deep sea operation to cap the well.
“World News with Diane Sawyer” airs at 6:30 p.m., (ET) on the ABC Television Network. Jon Banner is the executive producer of the broadcast.
