HIGHLIGHTS OF ABC NEWS’ ”GOOD MORNING AMERICA” FOR JULY 26-30, 2010

The following report highlights the programming of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during the week of July 26-30, 2010.

 

“Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. Juju Chang is the news anchor and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The morning news program airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (7:00-9:00 a.m., EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

 

Highlights of the week include:

MONDAY, JULY 26 – Senior health and medical editor Dr. Richard Besser kicks off a series of reports, “How to Save a Life,” today looking at automatic defibrillators; workplace contributor Tory Johnson on how to work from home

TUESDAY, JULY 27 – An interview with California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman; actress America Ferrara (“The Dry Land”); actress Cybill Shepherd (“Drop Dead Diva”)

 

WEDNESDAY, JULY 28 – Senior health and medical editor Dr. Richard Besser’s continuing series “How to Save a Life: The Heimlich Maneuver”; nutritionist Keri Glassman with the best frozen treats for summer

 

THURSDAY, JULY 29 – Technology contributor Becky Worley with the top medical gadgets; parenting expert Ann Pleshette Murphy with the five things all teens need to know before leaving home

 

FRIDAY, JULY 30 The Black Eyed Peas perform live in New York City’s Central Park as part of “GMA’s” Summer Concert Series; one year after their detention in Iran, the mothers of the three American hikers being held in Tehran speak to “GMA”

 

Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”
