WEEK TO WEEK GROWTH IN TOTAL VIEWERS

“THIS WEEK” GROWS +9% IN ADULTS 25-54 AND +4% IN TOTAL VIEWERS WEEK TO WEEK

ABC News’ “This Week” was the number two Sunday morning show in the key Adults 25-54 demographic, besting CBS’ “Face the Nation”  on Sunday, July 18, 2010, according to Nielson Media Research.

“This Week” was the only Sunday morning public affairs program to experience week-to-week growth in both Total Viewers (+4%) and among Adults 25-54 (+9%).  The British Open preempted the program the same week last year, so there is no year to year comparison to report.

Last Sunday anchor Jake Tapper had an exclusive interview with Vice President Joseph Biden.  The round table featured former Clinton Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers, Clarence Page of The Chicago Tribune, former Bush Communications Director Nicolle Wallace, and ABC News’ George Will.

Ian Cameron is the executive producer. ABC News Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper is the interim anchor.  The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
