“Cathy” Calls It Quits After 34 Years — Read Her First Comic Here
EmailCathy Guisewite, the creator of the comic strip "Cathy" announced today that she is ending her award-winning comic after 34 years. The strip chronicled the ups and downs of life, love and swimsuit season. "Cathy" was first published in newspapers on November 22, 1976, and it eventually grew to appear in more than 1,400 papers.
