Ratings Report for ABC News’ “Nightline” For the Week of September 27, 2010

“NIGHTLINE” IS #2 IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18-49 FOR THE WEEK

ABC News “Nightline” placed second among Total Viewers posting 3.74 million viewers and 1.28 million Adults 18-49 for the week of September 27, 2010, according to Nielsen Media Research. For the week, “Nightline” tied for first place with NBC’s “Tonight Show” and CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman” in Adults 25-54 (1.3 rating). Week-to-week, “Nightline” grew the most versus the competition among Total Viewers (+4%) while “Letterman” declined -6%. 

ABC News’ “Nightline” is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and Bill Weir. John Donvan and Vicki Mabrey are correspondents. James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
