April 2010 was my last flight in this country until the TSA modify this latest so called security system. To be exposed to unnecessary radiation is unacceptable and to submit to state sanctioned sexual molestation is worse. Maybe when the profits that the airlines make decreases will be motivation for the airlines to encourage the TSA to modify the current system.

it is a few minuets of humility for some and undoubtly a measure of safety for all. I said
a measure because NOTHING is absolute except death; NOTHING is perfect! ALL things are subject to chance… chance that explosive toting people may find a way to get on planes inspite of safety measures our government can come up with. They showed on tv that there is some kind of explosive that looks and feels like salt. Someone can roll it in
something that look like putty or soft plastic, drop it in cup of liquid and it can take out a large portion of the plane. I think the commentator said it was PTN.
Anyway, lets not be cry babies. if no safety net was in place we would cry,”we can’t fly these unsafe skies!”
c’mon, fellow americans lets stop complaining!! granted, we are use to having our way, but times have changed and we are in a much more dangerous times; there comes a time when we cannot have everything our way, nor can we have everything “BOTH WAYS!”
legal differences, costs and time keeps the Israeli method from working here not to mention the fact that their volume of activities are almost 900 times less than ours! Which means,if we insist on using their system, airflights could go up maybe hundreds of dollars more a ticket…then we will cry AGAIN, we won’t fly in those expensive skies.
can’t we all just try to get along.

I encourage everyone who is opposed to TSA Pat down and scanners to write your congressman, maybe if enough people protest to the Government they will step in. I mean it is their job to up hold the law and right now they are doing nothing.
How do you know that there isn’t a TSA worker who might be a pedophile who has to do a pat down on your child or you? I think they are taking this way too far. I refuse to fly even though I want to go visit my brother in Hawaii.

I will never again fly, if at all avoidable, because of these invasive, potentially dangerous body-scanners and sexual-assault level “pat downs” (what a “nice” way to put it) at airports. Maybe if they change their policies, to not traumatize passengers, I will return to flying.
For now I will plan to take a little more time off for vacations to allow me to take the train. If they ruin that, I’ll need to resort to bus routes or simply drive myself…if I bother with vacations at all by then.

The TSA has the wrong idea about security if they think groping is an effective way to combat terrorism. They should follow the Israeli model instead. What happens to TSA procedures when terrorists start using their rectums to carry bombs? Do they think that cavity searches will suddenly become acceptable? Where are our 4th amendment rights, and when did we become a facist state?

I am a high risk for four types of cancer. I am not unusual in that I am part of the 25% of females who experienced years of sexual abuse. It is important to me to be able to control who touches my body.
Finally, I do not travel for pleasure, but at the pleasure of those who employ me. When I am summoned it can be for a next day trip thousands of miles away. Driving has rarely been an option.

For those of you who naively believe that “RAPE-SCAN” is about security just do a search on the Internet for Rapiscan SCAM.
This is about MONEY!!!!!

Let’s see how many sheep out there change their tune once their children and grandmothers are aggressively groped by TSA perverts. (In the name of national security).

People can’t change immediate travel plans because of nonrefundable tickets. But after the new year holiday, expect a drastic dropoff in people buying airline tickets. This choice of ‘be irradiated, be groped, or don’t fly’ is the final straw after a long list of other indignities and frustrations imposed on travelers by TSA and the airlines. I’ve been a frequent flyer, but now plan to cut back on flying to avoid the unpleasantness that is airline travel today. I just wish high speed rail was an option.
