ABC’s Senior Justice Correspondent Pierre Thomas Interviews Attorney General Eric Holder

With authorities on high alert for possible terror threats ahead of one of the busiest travel weeks of the year, ABC News brings viewers exclusive interviews with the administration’s top national security and justice officials.

Diane Sawyer sits down for an exclusive interview with the core members of President Obama’s National Security team – Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and President Obama’s chief counterterrorism advisor John Brennan. They will discuss the lessons they learned after the failed Christmas Day bomb plot last year as well as the new, controversial screening procedures implemented in airports across the country last month. An excerpt of the interview will air tonight on “World News with Diane Sawyer” with the full interview airing on Tuesday, December 21.

In addition, ABC News Senior Justice Correspondent Pierre Thomas will speak with Attorney General Eric Holder in a rare exclusive interview. The potential prosecution of Wikileaks, the issue of homegrown terrorism and the influence of the American-born radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki will be among the topics discussed. The interview is set to air on “Good Morning America” Tuesday, December 21.

Excerpts from these interviews will also be featured across ABC News broadcasts and platforms including ABCNews.com, ABC News Radio, ABC NewsOne, and ABC News NOW.
