Ratings Report: ABC News Programming For the Week of December 6 – December 10, 2010

“RATINGS FOR ABC’S “GOOD MORNING AMERICA”

“GMA” Only Morning Show to Increase in Total Viewers Season-to-Date;

 GMA” Cuts Total Viewing Gap with NBC Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year

 ABC’s “Good Morning America” averaged 4.68 million Total Viewers and a 1.4/10/1.75 million among Adults 25-54 for the week of December 6, 2010.  Versus the prior week, “GMA” increased its total viewing audience by +2% (4.68 million vs. 4.58 million).   

Season-to-date, GMA continues to be the only program up among total viewers vs. the same time last year (ABC: +4%, NBC: -4%, CBS: Flat).    

 “GMA” cut the total viewing gap with NBC’s “Today” week-to-week (-10%) and year-to-year (-20%). 

  Note:  George Stephanopoulos broadcasted from Afghanistan Monday 12/6/10 and was off Tuesday 12/7/10. 

 The Emmy Award-winning morning news program, featuring the anchor team of Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Sam Champion and Juju Chang, airs live Monday through Friday from 7:00-9:00 a.m. ET on the ABC Television Network. Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
