IN BOTH TOTAL VIEWERS (+14%) AND IN ADULTS 25-54 (+9%)
On December 12, 2010, ABC News’ “This Week with Christiane Amanpour” drew 2.33 million Total Viewers and 700,000 Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research. The program experienced the most week-to-week growth of all Sunday morning public affairs shows in both Total Viewers (+14%) and in the key A25-54 demographic (+9%).
On Sunday, “This Week” featured an interview with Senior White House Adviser David Axelrod. The program also featured an exclusive discussion on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Salam Fayyad, and former Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni. Ms. Amanpour also had an exclusive interview with former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Gordon Brown. 2008 Nobel Prize-winner Paul Krugman of The New York Times, political strategist and ABC News contributor Matthew Dowd, Cokie Roberts, and George Will of ABC News joined Ms. Amanpour for the roundtable discussion.
Christiane Amanpour is the anchor of “This Week” and Ian Cameron is the executive producer. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
