HIGHLIGHTS FOR ABC NEWS’ “GOOD MORNING AMERICA,” FEBRUARY 14-18

The following report highlights the programming of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during the week of February 14-February 18, 2011. 

“Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. Juju Chang is the news anchor and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The morning news program airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (7:00-9:00 a.m., EDT), on the ABC Television Network. 

Highlights of the week include:

“GMA” teams up with ABC’s hit show “Modern Family” in search of a real modern American family. Robin Robert gets an all-access pass to the show on Friday, reporting live from the set in Los Angeles. Also, three unique, one-of-a-kind families will be profiled Tuesday-Thursday.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14 – “GMA” kicks-off  its “Extreme Love” series; Contributor Cameron Mathison with the fashion hits and misses of  last night’s Grammy Awards; Correspondent Andrea Canning explores the latest trend-ghostwriters for online dating profiles; Cameron Mathison on his interview with actor Liam Neeson  

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15 – “Dancing with the Stars” champion Cheryl Burke opens up in her new autobiography (“Dancing Lessons”); George Stephanopoulos interviews Rep. Paul Ryan; “GMA” Contributor Erin Andrews and her father discuss their efforts to raise prostate cancer awareness; Lisa Ling joins “GMA’s” Morning Mix 

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16 Corey Haim’s mother Judy speaks out for the first time about losing her son; Kathy Freston, wife of MTV co-founder Tom Freston, on her new book with vegetarian dishes that taste great (“Veganist”); Darius Rucker performs a hit song 

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17 – Grammy-winner Lady Gaga talks about her life and latest projects; a performance by country star Keith Urban; Consumer Correspondent Elisabeth Leamy reports on several retailers’ new “buy back” programs 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18 Robin Roberts goes behind-the-scenes with the cast of ABC’s Emmy-award winning “Modern Family” and reports live from the show’s set; MTV’s “I Used to be Fat” stars Marci Levine and Gabriella Caloiero discuss their weight loss journey; “GMA’s” Countdown to Oscars: an interview with the legendary Francis Ford Coppola; chef Emeril Lagasse cooks a favorite recipe

Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”
