HIGHLIGHTS FOR ABC NEWS’ “GOOD MORNING AMERICA,” FEBRUARY 28-MARCH 4

The following report highlights the programming of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during the week of February 28-March 4, 2011. 

“Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. Juju Chang is the news anchor and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The morning news program airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (7:00-9:00 a.m., EDT), on the ABC Television Network. 

Highlights of the week include:

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28 – “GMA” brings viewers all the highlights of last night’s Oscars; Robin Roberts reports live from the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood with exclusive interviews with some of the night’s winners; “Who Wore it Best on the Red Carpet?” with contributor Erin Andrews, Glamour Magazine’s Suzie Yalof  Schwartz, and George Kostiopoulos from E!’s Fashion Police; Katie Nicholl and Erin Andrews bring us inside the A-list Oscar parties

TUESDAY, MARCH 1 George Stephanopoulos challenges Apolo Anton Ohno to a race up the stairs of the Empire State Building for the program’s “GMA Takes On” series; Contributor Cameron Mathison talks to a few  members of the just-announced “Dancing with the Stars” cast; the healthiest packaged foods 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2 Bianna Golodryga reports from London for the remainder of the week for “GMA’s” Royal Diary series, looking at the rules and traditions of dress for the big day–today she looks at the amazing hats; Good Housekeeping’s Rosemary Ellis with the best anti-aging make-up 

THURSDAY, MARCH 3Sam Champion reports from Philadelphia with a special preview of the city’s annual flower show; “GMA’s” Royal Diary continues with a look at the traditional veils, tiaras and trains; fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg discusses her “People’s Voice Awards” honoring women making a difference 

FRIDAY, MARCH 4 “GMA” kicks off its annual Mother’s Day “Breakfast in Bed” contest with chef Emeril Lagasse; “GMA’s” Royal Diary continues with a look at the wedding attire requested of the men and women; Consumer Correspondent Elisabeth Leamy tests popular weight loss program meals; Technology Contributor Becky Worley on where to find the best sales over the weekend 

Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”
