The following report highlights the programming of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during the week of March 14-March 18, 2011. 

“Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. Juju Chang is the news anchor and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The morning news program airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (7:00-9:00 a.m., EDT), on the ABC Television Network. 

Highlights of the week include:

MONDAY, MARCH 14 Robin Roberts and Chief Heath and Medical Editor Dr. Richard Besser report from South Africa as part of ABC News’ global health series “Be the Change: Save a Life;” In a region considered to be ground-zero for many of the globe’s most devastating diseases, Roberts and Dr. Besser will talk to the unsung heroes who are breaking new ground and bringing hope; George Stephanopoulos talks to pastor Rob Bell, author of  the controversial new book “Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell, and The Fate of Every Person who Ever Lived”

TUESDAY, MARCH 15 George Stephanopoulos interviews Speaker of the House John Boehner; Anchor Elizabeth Vargas sits down with musician Sammy Hagar to discuss his new memoir (“Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock”); the teenage boys from Utah hit by lightning recall their horrifying ordeal; the cast of Disney Channel’s “Shake-it Up” performs

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16 – “GMA’s” new Advice Guru Liz Pryor takes on viewer questions; Juju Chang brings us the rare story of bi-racial twins from Akron, Ohio; Technology Contributor Becky Worley tests infomercial fitness equipment; Contributor Cameron Mathison explores healthy cooking for kids

THURSDAY, MARCH 17 – South Park Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone discuss their new Broadway play (“The Book of Mormon”); “GMA’s” Royal Diary continues with lessons learned from Diana and Sarah’s wedding dress designers; Becky Worley on how to get the healthiest deals at the grocery store

FRIDAY, MARCH 18 – “GMA’s” 60-minute makeover to sell your house fast; where to find the best sales over the weekend

James Goldston is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”
