Outgoing NPR Exec Caught on Tape: Should Federal Funds Go to Public Radio?

The Tea Party is calling on Congress to stop funding National Public Radio after an outgoing NPR exec was taped saying Tea Partiers are "seriously racist." NPR responded that the comments "are contrary to everything we stand for" and said cutting federal funds "would significantly damage public broadcasting." What do you think of NPR's reporting? Do you think the federal subsidy (2% of NPR's funding) should be cut?
