“THIS WEEK WITH CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR” DRAWS 2.28 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS AND 727,000 ADULTS 25-54
On April 10, 2011, ABC News’ “This Week with Christiane Amanpour” drew 2.280 million Total Viewers and 727,000 Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.
On Sunday, Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN) and Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) sat down with ABC News’ “This Week” anchor Christiane Amanpour to discuss the new budget deal and why the budget process almost shutdown the government. Senior advisor to the President David Plouffe also joined Ms. Amanpour to weigh in President Obama’s new budget plan and why Plouffe believes Donald Trump would never win a presidential nomination. Academy award-winning director and actor Robert Redford also spoke to Ms. Amanpour about his new film, “The Conspirator,” that tells the story of the only woman charged in the plot to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln.
Ms. Amanpour also took the budget debate to the “This Week” roundtable with George Will, interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile, Chrystia Freeland of Thomson-Reuters, and National Journal’s Ron Brownstein.
Christiane Amanpour is the anchor of “This Week.” The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
