Taliban Jailbreak: Can the U.S. Finish the Job in Afghanistan?

Almost 500 prisoners escaped a prison in Kandahar today through a tunnel dug over months by Taliban and equipped with air ducts and electricity. "Of the 488 men who escaped, fewer than 20 were from the criminal section of the prison; the rest were security detainees believed to be Taliban fighters and commanders," the Times reports.
