@ sam C and Vee: Yes, because it costs almost nothing to search a lake with an average depth of 800 feet and an area of 36000 acres (that’s almost 30,000 football fields) for bodies that may or may not have been dumped there over the previous 10 to 30 years. And it’s not like he could’ve gotten rid of bodies in any other way–say, buy burning them, or burying them, or finding a remote area he knows nobody frequents. Yes, they definitely should’ve spent millions in taxpayer money to search that entire lake!

Hey Laurie – I live in ABQ as well. West Mesa Murders now this. I’m sure Dateline, 48 Hrs or one of those other news magazines is rolling in on this. It doesn’t take a Mignini to see some horrific scenarios to come from this.

I live in Alb. New Mexico, and they did search the lake back in 1999 but they couldn’t find anyone
its a deep big lake and they were only looking for 2 woman at the time, they only found out
before he died that there may have been 40 woman tortured, again the lake is deep and big
and now its low so they are looking again.

What a uselss dirtbag. Some will claim he was crazy, but crazy doesn’t allow the person to plan and to carry out plans, nor would crazy be able to cover up crimes, nor to interact with others as he did with family and ‘friends’. He was just a sociopath with no reason to have lived at all.

Wait….NOW they are checking the lake for bodies where his killing – trailer was situated next to?!?!?! Way to go New Mexico Police, crack job detective work, how long did it take you to make this connection? He was arrested in 1999. He died in 2002. WTF!
