i read jaycee dugard’s book and i am in awe of this woman’s strength and her ability to forgive those people who wronged her. she has a very positive attitude after everything she went through. she could have hide from the world but instead she decided to do this and hopefully help save other kids. she’s right, she doesn’t have to be ashamed and hide or not tell her story because she didn’t do anything wrong. i wish her, her mother and her kids all the best.

I spoke out and called social services about a toddler being left alone in the upstairs apartment in my house years ago. They do come and have follow up visits and he was legally her child. But the home was a filthy pig sty – food bowls on the floor that were glued down with the old food and dirty clothes. She moved soon after and robbed the house blind, including some of my things in storage. Even if one person tries to do the right thing, you always wonder how the child turns out. I still think about that small boy all alone crying while the mom was out partying.
