For those of you using the “hate their sin/I can’t believe they chose that” argument: When did you choose to be straight? Because if they choose to be gay, then you must have had a choice too, right?
And maybe they started to feel things because “OH LOOK! PUBERTY! WHEN HORMONES COME INTO PLAY! ASKJSKJF!”

@ I_Eat_M&Ms- So do I! I love the dark chococlate ones the best. Also, I presume you don’t believe the Bible, so I don’t think you can use It to back up your view. Besides, the Bible tells us in the same passage that after we get the plank out, we ARE to judge others and tell them they are doing wrong.

@ Fabianp- I don’t know what country you’re living in, but in America, religion DOES NOT dominate human rights. In fact, Christians are discriminated against often. We are ALLOWED to state our views but often times are forced to stop because we might discriminate against others! Its not fair for gays to be allowed to state their views, but then require Christians to shut up because our views don’t correlate with the gays. Last time I checked we have freedom of speech, but more and more the gov’t seems to be taking that away from mainly Christian groups.
@ Jacey- I get what you’re saying, but when God created the animals, he created a male one and a female one to continue to reproduce. Genesis 6:19 says, “And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.” This was when God was going to destroy the world with a worldwide Flood. God commaned that a MALE and FEMALE each be brought. (And that includes a MALE penguin and a FEMALE penguin.) He designed heterosexual relationships. The people at the zoo have no proof that the penguins are even gay. Just because two of the same sex are raising a baby doesn’t automatically make them gay. I guess guys can’t have close guy friends and girls can’t have close girl friends without being considered ‘gay.’

Once again, I DO NOT HATE GAYS! But, I do not like the lifestyles they have chosen to live.

I have worked for many years in pet shops and when we would sell ( yes we sold animals) Finches we would often sell extra males to assist with the babies. This does not make the bachelors gay. In the wild ALL members of the flock help with the babies and some times the bachelors make the best mamas.

Does everyone realize this is about PENGUINS? Not human beings but animals…I don’t think we can label animals with human characteristics because they AREN’T human. So fighting over whether a pair of animals that are the same sex seems a little out there. There’s enough hate in the world between human beings. Let’s stop fighting about whether 2 male penguins can raise a baby chick and get back to trying to love each other as individuals!!

Can’t we just all be happy that the two hatchings will survive? Poor mom hatched twins, that’s too much for her. There’s a couple willing to take in her baby who will feed it and keep it warm and safe. Isn’t that all that matters? Who cares that the new parents are both male. I think it’s sweet.

Btw you want to know who the devil is, society, it’s horrible to think that teenager actually commit suicide from bullying because they want to follow a different lifestyle. Who do you think is ultimately destroying nature, society, we’ve become a cancer and we continue to spread and populate. One reason why they haven’t added gay equality to the testament is because the catholic church knows that ultimately people who protest in an outrage and question it.

This is ridicolus, I’m not gay but I support them 100%. If the bible was written by man and man is flawed doesn’t that mean the book is obviously going to be flawed. I’m sick and tired of religion dominating people’s rights. If a gay penguin wants to live , let them be because what they are actually demonstrating to the world is that you can be yourself. I wonder about the people who never even heard the word of Christ like the tribes in the amazon river , is that a sin too that they don’t know… Maybe you guys should question the bible cause from history tells us there have been wars on religion and for what cause the flying spaghetti monster said this was my land. Grow up and learn about how you are being manipulated.
