@MCH to say Frankincense is only of Pagans is this to say that the 3 Wise Men were Pagan? If so, so what? Did they not come to Jesus in Peace and Offering? Were they not guided by the Star?

I use Frankincense in my massage practice. I have a few different oils. But it is some Egyptian
Frankincense that i cherish the most. So many of my clients can walk into my room in terrible moods,
and within seconds there mood changes to enlightenment. I have several different oils that carry there own power. But none of them compare to the Frankincense i was fortunate to obtain. I hope the governments of the Arab region make it priority one to see that the Boswellia tree will continue to grow. I also hope that Myrrh is safe. It to is a powerful substance.

“Staple of Christmas”? What rubbish! It’s a staple of INCENSE, and how many christians even would recognise it if they smelled it? PAGANS are far more likely to recognize it. It’s a staple of SOLAR energy, not christmas. I concur it is an ecological disaster that this species is on the edge of extinction, due to human mismanagement and some ecological changes that are also due to human mismanagement. But how many thousands of other species are also dying out, some much more essential to life? Those of us who use frankincense in ritual will find other solar symbols, but other things will be impossible to substitute for.
