Oh this poor misguided young man. Doesn’t he understand that the only time this sort of behaviour is supported is when your friends in congress get their share? Learn from the bankers, give a cut to your ‘elected’ officials and you can rob the whole nation blind while being supported all the way by the media. (I won’t mention the much loved bank investing Billionaire from the Midwest.)

Well, Joe the Cop, as a cop why would you SUPPORT the public paying donations to buy this criminal’s ring for him? You also assume this crime could be dismissed. Why is that? Because he’s the right color? Crime is crime and punishment should be fairly distributed. I’m not saying he should be on death row, but he should get the exact same punishment any other stupid criminal gets.

Well, as a cop, I can say that it appears as though he is surrounded by honest people, and even his fiance didn’t seem to hesitate as if it wasn’t even a thought to try and ‘get by’ with anything (i.e., the more effortless doing the right thing is, the more honest you are). If he has no prior criminal record, it likely will be reduced to a misdemeanor or even dismissed. All in all, just given the publicity, the two might get it paid for in donations.
