I have a friend in the army. all i could think about when he came home was how different he looked. the things soldiers endure for our freedom are unimaginable. i’m against war, but i have the utmost respect for soldiers.

Every story I read about the before, during and after is always an eye-opener. Especially reading the comments afterwards. These brave men and women risk their lives, for the lives of others selflessly. I have been deployed 3 times to Afghanistan performing Air Evac missions. I HAVE VOLUNTEERED FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE. Its because of the above sisters and brothers in arms that I do my job and for the people they serve. WE serve the people to protect them, be they allies or enemies. Its a calling and apart of who we are. “Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to cope with it”

There isn’t one single Afghani worth a drop of our blood. They’re all corrupt, evil, and nasty people. They don’t deserve freedom or opportunity. They desire above all else corrupt leaders and ruthless oppressors. After living in Afghanistan for years I can say these are the most backwards people on the planet.

This is a great story/look into the real lives of the soldiers. The before/during/after pictures are amazing and adds so much to the stories. Thank you to all the soldiers out there who have put their lives on the line for us. God Bless you and your families.

Reading through that was an intensely emotional experience. And we’ve put them and Afghanistan through this for what? Sadly the answer is for nothing. A British officer I saw being interviewed recently, an expert on Afghanistan, when asked what would happen when we pull out simply replied “The Taliban will take back over” And when then asked how long he thought it would take he answered “24 hours”. This has been such a waste in every way that it could be a waste. May God forgive us.
