i went to school with identical twins, we loved watching them switch seats, as the teacherscould NOT tell them apart, but all of us in the class could, we had gone to school together since first grade, so the extremely subtle differances, were right on the surface to us students, but not for the teachers!!
and the olsen twins, NOT identical, they are fraternal twins, as in two eggs, not one that split!! and we have twins in EVERY generation of our family going back many generations, some identical, most not.

I am the mother of 5 naturally conceived children... My two oldest are 6yr old fraternal twin boys-- they dont look alike to me, but other people can't tell them apart!! I have a 4 yr old daughter and then I have 2 year old identical twin girls--- whom truly don't look alike!! Interesting enough... one of my twin girls looks & acts like one of the twin boys-- and the other twin girl acts like her other twin brother & her singleton sister!! Obviously the subject of Twins is close to my heart... and studying the differences & similarities between them all is simply amazing!!

Just because there are slight differences in their appearances does not mean they are not identical. Identical twins have the same DNA, split from the same fertilized egg. I find it interesting, though, the differences in appearance given that they're cut from the same mold. Different environmental factors, lifestyles, facial expressions, etc all play a part in the minor differences between these identical twins.

Identical twins are very interesting. I have identical twin sisters three years younger than me. They have many similarities but one thing that sticks in my mind is after I had my baby daughter I received an outfit from each of them. They did not collaborate, and one lived in Alaska near me and one lived in Mississippi. They both gave almost identical outfits in navy blue check! Who buys navy blue check for a baby girl?? And for both of them to do that - it was weird.

The two curly headed twins look different enough to me to make me think they are fraternal twins and not identical. I had a pair of cousins in my high school that looked pretty close to being identical twins.

I am pretty sure they are all relaxed. That just shows you that they aren't identical. They may appear to be, but when you take a closer look they are different. I found it very interesting.
