Could the Solar Storms be affecting their own internal GPS system of the dolphins?

Dolphins are being disorientated in Cape Cod in February, Peru in Early March , Brazil just 2 days ago. This is too many just to be coincidental. we are talking of hundreds of dolphins which are thought of as some of the smartest mammals in the water. What could be screwing up their internal thought processes? If not solar then are they all committing suicide because we have poisoned the water so much they would rather commit mass suicide?

Olivia, thank you for posting an important story. Though I must ask the obvious question: why do you make no mention of the well-known link between Navy sonar and the mass beachings and deaths of dolphins and whales?

You even took the time to mention that “One of the theories is that dolphins searching for food get caught in low tides, which push them to shore.” but then completely gloss over a much more obvious theory with well-grounded evidence to back it up: that Navy sonar has a known history of causing distress and deaths among cetaceans in the areas around naval sonar tests.

This is either lazy reporting, or betrays an intentional agenda on your or ABC’s part to ignore the obvious.

Please tell the full story. Mentioning all possible causes does not betray an agenda, but intentionally omitting an obvious explanation certainly does.

Why is it that no one, especially the scientist involved, have even spoken about ‘Operation Bold Alligator’ which ‘coincidentally’ began in the atlantic ocean on the east coast of the us from VA to florida on Jan 12, 2012 and will end tomorrow, Feb. 11, 2012, and i predict that the ‘mysterious’ dolphin beaching will end with it. There are bunches of ships probably submarines involved and they are pinging and sonaring the east coast waters like a percolator. How come I can find this out, or are the scientists not allowed to bring it up? A little common sense please? Don’t believe me?

These intelligent dolphins are evolving through natural selection. They making great strides to become a college professor. All evolutionists are hypocrites. They should leave the animal alone because of natural selection.

Scientist should investigate whether or not there is any sonic activity in the area. It has been know that sonar can disrupt marine life. So sad!

With all respect to correspondent Olivia Katrandjia and the volunteers who are trying to rescue the dolphins and whales that have been seen beaching around the globe, it begs a fundamental question the press seem to have missed in a BIG way. We are approaching the solar maximum for the 24th solar cycle. Why is the press and so-called experts missing this key fact relating to migratory creatures that depend upon their magnetoception (biological magnetic compasses) for their navigation above and under the sea? It is well known that dolphins, whales and other migratory creatures (e.g. birds) use their “magnetoception” or internal biological based compass. that consists of biogenic magnetite (Fe3O4) present in specialized cells in the brain to follow the earths magnetic fields. When those field lines shift, the internal “GPS” habit strength the older creatures and leaders of these pods depend on doesn’t give them a warning until it is too late and they are stranded and dying. Please continue to help God’s sentient creatures as is the responsible to the claimed inheritors of Eden. Better still, start monitoring the solar storms like the recent ones that caused the brilliant auroras in the past month as well as the shifting and fluctuating magnetic field effects that probably are contributing to the current situation on Cape Cod and on other beaches around the world. ‘Nuff said.

When I see this happening, I see a warning that something is out of balance and in a big way. Dolphins are not stupid and would not be chasing food until they are stranded, that is the dumbest lame excuse I have ever read and is so common an excuse. Just like the ten thousands of birds that suddenly dropped out of the sky?….and the only excuse they had was that “fireworks scared them to death”?? LOL! Why do we always assume it is a “natural” Occurrence?

DD54: We know that mass and individual beachings have happened throughout human history. Since we’ve been counting the numbers have been fairly steady at around 2,000 a year; sometimes a few more, sometimes a few less.These are facts. Now please tell me how these facts can be explained by “U.S. Navy sonar activities”?
