It just makes Penn State look worse. Why spend $200K on legal fees for Spanier when he wasn't charged with anything unless he thinks he's guilty of something? I think the $1.5 million and counting for Louis Freeh's investigation is also a waste. What can he accomplish with no subpoena power? If the Attorney General found so little after over 2 years, what more can Freeh find? The $860K for legal consultations for the Board of Trustees sounds like another waste and makes them look guilty of something too. Dumb idea to put that information on a website. At least they are consistent at Penn ST cover up the sick predatory behavior then worry about the Penn St rep above all else. Its so disgusting I want to throw up. If you want to fix the problem you don't need to pay consultants and PR firms you need to appoint an internal investigator and fire anyone who was involved in the cover up. Use the money to help victims who were raped by that dirty old pervert.
