A pair of twins who appeared on a 1950s television show were found dead together in their shared home of apparent natural causes, however police are still searching for their next of kin.

Patricia and Joan Miller, 73, were discovered dead on Feb. 26 in their South Tahoe, Calif., home.

Foul play has been ruled out, but investigators have not determined a definitive cause of death, said Lt. Bryan Golmitz of the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

The Miller twins appeared on a weekly  television show called "The Hoffman Hayride" in the 1950s  and visited military bases to entertain troops.

The sister never married and were  "nearly always dependent" on each other, Golmitz said.

Police are trying to find any living family members of the twins and believe they may have relatives in Portland, Ore.
