M: They most likely haven't said anything about his motive because as yet they don't know what his motive was. When they do either know or can make an informed guess they will announce it. That's an informed guess though, one based on the facts, rather than the imagination based flights of fancy you prefer. In an earlier version of this story you asked a question: "Find out if he’s Muslim. The President might like to apologize to this murderer as well.", a question also based on nothing but your imagination. Kravetz doesn't sound all that Muslim to me, Nothing more to say about that? I think you owe Muslims and your President an apology. But I'm not going to hold my breath while waiting.

There's loads of issues here. In what kind of universe are prisoners not shackled in a courtroom?--or courtrooms staffed with less than two bailiffs for EXACTLY this reason? Wait a sec. He took a firearm from the bailiff--but stabbed the judge instead of shooting him? How would a bailiff ever lose her weapon to anyone? Was she stoned at the time? Why didn't the bailiff have a locking holster? If he wasn't a prisoner. how did he get close enough to either the bailiff or the judge to do anything? Did the bailiff train at a clown college? You'd never see this kind of slop in a court-martial.

I notice there' no mention of motive here--not that it's really needed. I just think it's interesting to reflect that if this guy was, say, the brother of one of our soldiers murdered by Afghan cops, or say the brother of a sister who needed an abortion to save her life--and the judge was one who upheld the rights of activists shoving pictures of dead babies in her face and calling her a murderer--WE WOULD NEVER EVEN HEAR ABOUT IT.

Those seem like far-fetched assumptions, of course. I'm ex-enforcement myself, and I have no sympathy for this guy. I can't help but ask, though, why is his motive not made public if it makes him look bad instead of the judge?
