Looking at Kasperky Lab's statement, Duqu is written mostly in C compiled with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, and some parts in Object Oriented C. Sorry, there is no "pure C", someone was just saying plain ol' C as opposed to say C++, and of course C is still very widely used. Author should not pretend to be tech writer.

"Pure C"?!? Would that be "C"? The language LOTS of programmers still write in? I'm so tired of clueless people.

I have been programming for over 25 years.. they did not teach me C in college, but about a year after I got out of school, I was given a box of diskettes (5 1/4 floppies) that had C++ on them and told to load it and learn it. I have been working in C since and love it. It blows my mind some of the things I can do with C.. The world had just be happy, I am an honest person. :)
