Wow. It is hard to compare to past decades. I travelled quite a bit in the 70's and 80's and I don't think there was any screening process for checked bags. If there was it was intermittent at best. Likely all of them. How many guns were found per day at checkpoints in the '80s and '90s? Without comparison numbers, Mr. Pistole's claims are meaningless.
