Michael Giacona somehow got out of his punishment. I drove by this intersection several times this morning and he wasn’t there. I’m sure he got of it claiming his life is in danger due to the media attention it was receiving. Well guess what? …. Aaron Pennywell doesn’t have the luxury of protecting his life anymore!

Steal a car or sell drugs and you get years in prison. Kill someone on your second DUI and you get 90 days. Something is really wrong with our justice system.

On anniversary of the incident, on Pennywell’s birthday other special days in Pennywell’s life, the jerk ought to have to go back to the scene of the crime and wear his sign. He should have to do this for the rest of his life. And his sign should change appropriate to the event in Pennywell’s life. For example on the birthday the sign should say “Aaron Pennywell would be ## years old today if I hadn’t killed him when I was driving drunk.”

This judge needs to stand on the corner with this killer, with a sigh around HIS neck saying, if you drink and drive AND kill someone, I’ll make it easy on you. This guy has more than one DUI, and he only got 90 days??? Really?? Someone lock the damn judge up….because THAT is criminal

I hate to read these stories, anyone who risks others lives because they are drunk are idiotic. I realize many people get home while drunk, but the few who don’t and end up in a crash and kill someone….they may be taking geniuses who the human race could really with….rather than without.
It is sad to think of what any victims of drunk driving may have accomplished in their lives, and it was taken from them….so sad……god bless our lost brothers and sisters…..

I like the sign, but 90 days for killing someone is a load of crap. In Minnesota people get locked up longer than that if they’re .09 and someone hits *them*.

OMG! Are you kidding me? And this was not his first offense. 90 days was clearly not enough. I think negligent homocide would be a sufficient charge with at least 10 yrs, an alcohol monitoring device for another 2 yrs along with 5 yrs probation and community service. Not to mention revoking his license (which wouldn’t really stop him from driving). Why is he wearing a disguise? He shoudn’t be allowed to.

This guy got 90 DAYS and 4 Saturdays for what amounts to INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER. Just wait till this judge has one of his family members killed by a drunk driver. Way too lenient a sentence.

90 days? man if I was the dead guys friend or family member Id get wasted and plow into the clown and his family while he was wearing that dumb sign, “Whazz that offcer? I killed Fuuour peeple? thatzz cool its like too hundered days right?” *hic!*
