An Idaho man was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at another man and demanding he perform the moonwalk, the dance made famous by pop icon Michael Jackson.

John Ernest Cross, 30, was sent to Bonner County jail after being charged with aggravated assault, according to a report in the Bonner County Daily Bee newspaper.

The suspect appeared in court Tuesday and said the alleged firearm was a pellet gun, although court papers describe it as an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle, the Bee reported.

The alleged incident took place on Monday. Bail was reportedly set at $20,000.
