um, stacia, these cities are liberal? really? colorado is a split state, but georgia is a very red state. i live in georgia, and i know bibb county and macon are two places that i would never consider liberal places. some parents are just bad parents. i blame it more on the “everyone for themselves” mentality some people have today.

Amazing how Stacia can turn disgusting behavior of parents into a political statement about “liberal voting airheads”, apparently, wherever people are videoed misbehaving, it’s liberaland!

Funny though, when WE took our children to easter egg hunts, WE organized them and ensured moderation, not abandonment of civility. Indeed, when a child couldn’t find an egg, one of the adults would stand next to an egg and give a hint to the child to look around a bit more carefully. As the child would be looking at who was speaking, their gaze would tend to shift to near the speaker and “magically” find the egg.
Today, the ADULTS need adult supervision. :/

Make it idiot proof, put out EMPTY eggs and as the children leave the area they turn in thier EMPTY eggs for a pre assembled bag of candy, the volunteers would probably appreciate not having to stuff eggs, AND no children are picking up candy that has fallen out of these cheap plastic eggs, AND when they turn in thier eggs and get the SAME bag of candy they collected eggs can be reused the following year so that makes is agreen easter egg hunt!

Oh my God, this is so stupid.Its an easter egg hunt. There is supposed to be havoc. Get a grip America.
If you are worried about your kid not finding an egg put a couple extra in your pocket for easy placement, if needed. You are turning these kids into sissys. This is getting so out of hand. The next headline will be bullying at the easter egg hunt causes PTSD. Parents suing event holder. As for the out of control parents, you plant corn you get corn.

theirs an easy solution, parents should stay out of it… If ur child dosnt get an egg dont get upset, tell them they tried their best… I find the biggest problem with egg hunts is that random people who have nothing to do with the event steal the eggs before the event even starts (im speaking of grown people 18+) ruining an event for children… Making it unfair for the children…
