Exclusive Television Reports Set to Begin Airing Sunday, May 20
ABC News senior foreign affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz travels to the country many of the world’s most-wanted terrorists now call home — Yemen. Raddatz will report on the latest threats from Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) as well as the actions the United States and its allies in Yemen are taking to combat the terror threats there. Martha’s reports will be featured across all broadcasts and platforms including “World News with Diane Sawyer,” “Good Morning America,” “Nightline,” ABCNews.com, and Yahoo!.
This marks Raddatz’s third trip to Yemen since 2010. In the last decade Raddatz has traveled to Pakistan and Afghanistan dozens of times and continues to cover the war on terror today. During the war in Iraq she traveled to the front lines more than twenty times and rode with the last convoy of U.S. forces as they left the country in December 2011.
