She sounds like an above average kid who would make any parent proud. She went out partying and got very drunk. So what? It happens. I believe the wild night was an exception and not part of her normal routine. She wandered into the wrong house and was shot because of it. Luckily she's still alive. She's been punished enough and certainly doesn't deserve a felony on her record which could ruin her life. They should charge her with something lesser and be done with it. I believe that she's learned a valuable lesson and I hope that the homeowners who shot her did as well. LOCK YOUR DOORS! If you're worried enough about your safety to keep a loaded gun nearby, you should worry enough to double check your doors. She got drunk, went into the wrong house (one with armed homeowners who objected to home invasions) didn’t leave when she was told to go and got shot for her trouble. Now she faces criminal charges which will likely be less than a slap on the wrist. She’s lucky to be alive and not facing any serious jail time. She could have caused an auto accident or other tragedy that might have cost innocent lives. Hard lesson but maybe it will stick. Lay off the booze lady, you just weren’t cut out to be a party girl. Come to think of it, I never met anyone who was. I wouldn’t walk into my mother’s house without knocking and waiting for permission to enter, and I have a key!
