"GMA" Saturday is #1 Among Adults 25-54 in April

"GMA" Saturday Slashes Total Viewer Gap (-81%) with NBC's "Saturday Today" to Smallest April Margin Ever

Versus Last April, "GMA" Saturday Grows in Total Viewers and Demo While "Saturday Today" and CBS "This Morning Saturday" Decline

  "Good Morning, America - Saturday" (3/26 - 4/29/12):

During April 2012, "Good Morning, America Saturday" hit all-time April highs in both Total Viewers (3.288 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.0 rating/7 share/ 1.197 million), according to Nielsen Media Research.  The ABC program debuted in its current format in September 2004.   

For the first time ever in April and for only the second month ever, "GMA Saturday" ranked No. 1 during a month in Adults 25-54 (1.197 million).  The ABC program beat NBC's "Saturday Today" by +33,000 (1.164 million) and CBS "This Morning: Saturday" by +570,000 (627,000) in April 2012. 

In Total Viewers, "GMA Saturday" slashed its April-to-April margins with NBC's "Saturday Today" by -81% (204,000 vs. 1.067 million), turning in its smallest April margin ever versus the NBC program.  In addition "GMA" led CBS "This Morning: Saturday" by its largest-ever Total Viewer advantage (+1.611 million - 3.288 vs. 1.677 million) during an April month.     

Building on the previous April for the 3rd year in a row, "GMA Saturday" stood as the only network news program on Saturday to grow in both Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 25-54 (+2%) compared to April 2011.  CBS' "This Morning: Saturday" (-6%/-3%) and NBC's "Saturday Today" (-17%/-27%) each delivered losses.
