ABC News Exclusive: Ann Romney to Speak with Diane Sawyer Just Hours Before Her Convention Speech

Interview to Air Tuesday Night on "ABC World News" from Tampa, Florida

Ann Romney, who has been called her husband's secret weapon on the campaign trail, will sit down for an exclusive interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer just hours before her anticipated convention speech. The interview will air Tuesday, August 28 on "World News with Diane Sawyer," which Sawyer will anchor from the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Portions of the interviews will also be highlighted on ABCNews.com, Yahoo!, ABC News Radio, and ABC's local affiliates.

With the Republican Party gathered to formally nominate Mitt Romney as its party's candidate in the race for the White House, Sawyer is talking to all of the key players in Tampa, Florida throughout the week as part of ABC's special "Your Voice, Your Vote" coverage of the Republican National Convention. This week Sawyer spoke with Mitt and Ann Romney's five sons and Speaker of the House John Boehner.
