A high school color guard coach was fired after he admitted sending a nude picture to an underage student, just two months after the coach's brother was fired from the same Oviedo, Fla., school for a similar offense.
Jason Ciesla, 24, who was a volunteer color guard coach at Oviedo High School, told police he had sent a racy photo to at least one male student, said Lt. Mike Beavers of the Oviedo Police Department.
"The principal of the high school had received an email from the alleged victim stating the issue. He then contacted the police department, and we took an initial report," Beavers said.
Jason Ciesla's younger brother, Jacob, 20, was relieved from his duties as a basketball coach at the school two months ago after it was revealed he had sent a nude photo and explicit text messages to a female student, Beavers said.
Ciesla told ABC News' Orlando affiliate he had a lapse in judgment.
"I wasn't. I just wasn't thinking," he said.
In both cases, the victims opted not to press charges, Beavers said.
The Ciesla brothers, who worked as volunteer coaches and were not employees of the school, were fired from their coaching gigs and did not express interest in coaching again, Beavers said.
