RV Plunges Into Pool

A Massachusetts man who was parking his RV in his driveway lost control and it barreled through trees and a fence and ended up in a neighbor's backyard swimming pool.

The accident occurred in Brockton shortly before 9 a.m. today when Steven Pierro was parking his 30-foot Ford Chateau Sport.

Neighbor Norman Little, 50, told ABC News affiliate WCVB that he rescued Pierro from the soaked RV.

Pierro's wife said he may have experienced a medical issue while parking the camper in his driveway, according to local reports.

Firefighters called for cranes and heavy towing vehicles to get the camper out of the 60-by-32-foot pool. It was removed around 1:30 p.m.

Pierro was reportedly taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. His wife told WCVB he is diabetic.
