Do you think those morons who are buying iPhone give damn about human right violation happening in chinese factory. Moreover people with low IQ go and stand in a line a day before to buy an electronics items that doesn’t contribute to family life or future generations. Save that money for better tomorrow instead of living in temporary cam set-up by govt at the time of recession.

And to the people that say Apple should move these jobs to the USA, that’s fine by me. As an international customer, I could not care less what 3rd world country they make ‘em in, just get these orders out already.

mstmac, yes, corporations are people…and they always have been…since the day the first corporate charter was issued. it’s the entire purpose behind corporation law…that the corporation is the embodiment (the latin “corpus”) of the collective interests of those who own the corporation. it’s the reason corporations can be taxed and sued as individuals…otherwise, when you get squashed by rack of tvs at the local target you couldn’t sue one entity. rather you would have to sue the hundreds of thousands of individual people who own stock in the corporation which would make such litigation and deserved relief impossible. clearly you are referring to the already thread-worn nonsense that citizens united somehow upended centuries of standing law, when in reality all it did was continue a constant line of jurisprudence and came to the logical conclusion that as “persons” under the law, a corporation also has free speech rights. you can like or dislike the decision, but it’s not some radical departure from long-standing legal interpretations. president obama did a real injustice to his supporters by making such a ridiculous and legally untenable claim in his SOTU speech some time back because he (as a lawyer and former law professor) knew then and knows now that his claim was absurd and when the same is repeated by his supporters it simply makes them look foolishly ingnorant of the law and legal history. finally, i wasn’t telling you not to voice your opinions any longer, feel free to post whatever you want. but, since we’re on the first amendment here, with citizens united and all, it’s nice to recognize every once in a while that the right to free speech is also the right to make a fool of oneself in public.

Now we get to see the pain and indentured servitude of the actual people who are doing jobs that were shipped off by the Romneys of the US. — not just toChina, but India and third-world countries, too. These workers are performing jobs in horrible conditions, while American corporations whistle Dixie! ROMNEY, can you see how wrong this is? Can you see the importance of Unions? What the hell am I talking about? The Romneys of the world HATE unions, because unions cut into their bottom lines. You know, like safe conditions means more (gasp!) regulations! To afford yoru employees decent wages and work hours in the United States means (gasp!) paying higher taxes to do so. How do they sleep at night? Easy.

So Chinese workers are toiling in conditions so bad that they are killing themselves. THIS for American luxury. I’m ashamed and saddened. They need a workers’ revolt., even though it is not likely to EVER happen with the restrictions on their freedoms. (Romneys of the world doing happy dance here.) I don’t know what Romney would do if the Chinese workers decided they didn’t want to work endless days in horrible conditions to make things for the US. In other words, WHERE will the Romney’s of the world ship our jobs off to next?

Foxcon sounds like the factory from hell. Workers not only work longer than 8 hours but they are forbidden to speak while at work. I can’t imagine doing a boring monotonous job and not being able to at least chat to break the tedium.
This is the kind of factory that Romney outsourced American jobs to. Workers living in dormitories 12 to a room. Not allowed to speak at work. Such miserable conditions that there is rampant suicide.
But Romney made a bigger profit than if he had used American workers.. Yeah, what a ‘success’ he is.

Foxconn employs 1.2 million people. Bring those jobs back to the USA and our unemployment
problem is gone !!! + of course it may cost 50.00 more per phone, but can you imagine how
much money we would make more to export this phone to the entire world ! Our trade deficit
also gone. Wake up congress and act now to save and keep America # 1 !
