For the week of September 10, 2012, ABC News' "Good Morning America" stood as the morning news leader, ranking as the No. 1 newscast for the 3rd week in a row in both Total Viewers (4.958 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.831 million), according to Nielsen Media Research. "GMA's" 3rd straight Adults 25-54 victory over NBC's "Today" represents its longest stretch at No. 1 in over 18 years - since a 6-week streak from w/o 7/18/94 thru w/o 8/22/94. Additionally, "GMA" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers for the last 5 weeks and in 10 of the last 12 (behind "Today" only during the 2 weeks of the Olympics).

"GMA" outperformed "Today" (4.306 million and 1.732 million, respectively) by +652,000 Total Viewers and +99,000 Adults 25-54. "GMA" has turned in its 3 largest Total Viewer leads over "Today" in the past 3 weeks (+883,000 on w/o 8/27/12; +795,000 on w/o 9/3/12) since it first beat the NBC program in April after 17 years. In addition, "GMA" increased its news demo advantage week to week by +19% (+83,000 on w/o 9/3/12) .

For the 4th consecutive week, "GMA" outdelivered "Today" in every head-to-head telecast of the week in Total Viewers (Mon: +656,000, Tues: +923,000, Wed: +369,000, Thurs: +793,000 and Fri: +467,000) . "GMA" has now beaten "Today" for 23 days in a row (8/14 - 9/14/12 - regular telecasts), representing "GMA's" longest run of consecutive single-day Total Viewer wins in nearly 20 years - since a 28-day streak from 2/1 - 3/10/93.

Additionally, for the 2nd time in the last 3 weeks, GMA" outdrew "Today" in all 5 telecasts of the week in Adults 25-54 (Mon: +107,000, Tues: +142,000, Wed: +6,000, Thurs: +120,000 and Fri: +90,000). Further, for the 4th week in a row, "GMA" owned the No. 1 morning telecast of the week (Monday - 9/10/12) in both Total Viewers (5.186 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.926 million).

For the 3rd week running, "GMA" improved on the same week last year (4.576 million and 1.792 million, respectively, on w/o 9/12/11) in both Total Viewers (+8%) and Adults 25-54 (+2%). "GMA" stood as the only morning newscast to post year-to-year gains as "CBS This Morning" (-5%/-12%) was down and NBC's "Today" (-21%/-31%) dropped by double-digits.

Season to date, "GMA" has cut its gaps with "Today" by more than half in both Total Viewers (-64%) and Adults 25-54 (-53%) versus its year-ago season gaps. "GMA" is posting its smallest margins with "Today" in 17 years in Total Viewers (264,000) and Adult 25-54 (327,000) - since the 1994-95 Season.

Season to date "GMA" is the only morning program to grow in Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 25-54 (+6%) versus its year-ago averages (NBC's "Today:" -5%/-11%, respectively; CBS' "This Morning:" -6%/-8%, respectively). "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in 6 years, since 2005-06.

"GMA" more than doubled the performance of "CBS This Morning" in both Total Viewers (+110%) and Adults 25-54 (+118%).

In August, Goodmorningamerica.com reached 24M users and served over 99 million page views. It is the # 1 morning news website and beats MSNBC's Today by millions of users every month. This summer, visitors spent +16% more time on Goodmorningamerica.com compared to Today.
