Those of us who live in the areas affected by the storm can see with our eyes and hear with our ears the rain and wind blowing outside our homes (here in PA for me) and see the destruction of Atlantic City boardwalks, Ocean City Maryland’s historic Pier, and our windows already shaking from the high winds at 4:25pm (Eastern Time).

So for those of you calling it “fake” I guess all of us New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and all coastal states are “in on it” and pretending along with everyone else. It’s a real storm. Our stores are really closed. Our cars are really parked. Our power is really going out.

Call it what you like, but only a complete nutcase would say a hurricane that’s obviously happening is “fake” and the whole Eastern United States is “in on it”. Hopefully people posting those comments are posting them knowing how ridiculous and irrational they are.

Most of us are just hoping to not be without power, water, and food for weeks on end. The rest of you may just think it’s something interesting to watch on t.v. and make smart remarks about.
