A source close to former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Shuttle Commander Mark Kelly tells ABC News exclusively that both Giffords and Kelly will be at the sentencing of Tucson gunman Jared Loughner Thursday.
It is expected that Kelly will make a statement in court on behalf of the couple with Giffords standing at his side.
This will be the first time the couple see Loughner in person.
On Jan. 8, 2011, Giffords was shot in the head while meeting constituents at an Arizona supermarket. In August 2012, Loughner pleaded guilty to the mass shooting that left six dead.
Giffords, who made a remarkable recovery, stepped down from the House in January 2012.

Awesome. Hey Gabby, I was just let go from my job because of Obamacare. You know, that pesky little bill YOU voted for. The one where we little peons would never receive the treatment that YOU got after your injury. Under this wonderful new bill, we would be F–ked. Thanks!

Actually my boss let the whole department go and stated it was due to the new healthcare law. It is not affordable. I don’t care if you think otherwise. Watch, you will see employers dropping their workers like flies. Watch out dear, you just may be next.

A friend of mine employs numerous people with his business and needs to hire more. However he told me the day after the election that he will have to hold off the hiring process. Now that Obamacare is likely to stay with his second term, there are too many risk that come with the bill for him to hire. So I too would like to thank Ms. Giffords for voting on a 2,000 page bill that she didn’t read.

I think Ms Giffords is a remarkable young woman. May God bless her, her husband, and their families.
